Sticky Fingers Kali-Pi has modules that can be run unattended in hostile environments, so I added a PIN menu the the screensaver.
In “Kali-Pi/menu”, set “KPPIN=0” to “1” and the screensaver wakes up to the PIN menu.
Default PIN is “1337” to unlock Sticky Fingers
The hardcoded PIN “111” opens a disguise screen for plausible deniability
The hardcoded PIN “110” shuts down the unit.
The PIN is saved in hashed form in the file Kali-Pi/Menus/.kalipi and can be changed by running the script “Kali-Pi/Menus/set-pi”. It takes no arguments and will ask for a new PIN.
I would change the title of the screen to a nice, innocent disguise that will lead no-one googling for it to this site 😉
