      Hello,
on a previous attempt to work with a 3.5″ waveshare screen everything worked great. Since I’m an idiot and broke that screen I got a pi 7″ instead. Once I installed the sticky fingers image image everything works fine and I boot into kali on my screen. However when I follow these steps

      cd /usr/local/src/re4son-kernel_4*
./re4son-pi-tft-setup -b cli # Boot into command line interface
      ./re4son-pi-tft-setup -a pi # Enable auto-login for user “pi”

In order to enable “Automatic boot into Sticky Finger’s Touch Interface” the screen goes blank and I can only ssh. Then if I startx I’m back to kali on my screen but again no touch button menu

      Thank you in advance

      Hi alpha,

the tft-menu doesn’t work on HDMI screens but you can boot into the gui and start the X-menu instead. That’ll run in a 3.5″ window and is even better.
I’ve just done a little change so you best do a “git pull” in “/home/pi/Kali-Pi”, then copy the desktop file from “/home/pi/Kali-Pi/Menus/X-Menu” onto your desktop.
Add “/home/pi/Kali-Pi/X-menu” to the sudoers file and that’s it.

any possibilities you extend support to the 5inch HDMI screen for your beautiful and cool “buttons” menu?? 🙂
