Yesterday I installed the Re4son kernel on my new Raspberry Pi 3 b+.

I am trying to get aireplay-ng –deauth to work on my own network. I’ve gone through the following steps:

    1) airmon-ng check
    2) airmon-ng check kill
    3) airmon-ng check (to make sure nothing else is running)
    4) airmon-ng start wlan0
    5) Tested injection with: aireplay-ng -9 wlan0mon

All this seems to work but when I run:
    aireplay-ng –deauth 6000 -a 11:22:33:44:55:66 -c 77:88:99:11:22:33 wlan0mon

The device is not kicked off the wifi. Any ideas?

    Output of aireplay-ng is:
    Sending 64 directed DeAuth. STMAC: [77:88:99:11:22:33] [ 4|46 ACKs]

    Hi ThePol,

Unfortunately injection is still beta for the B+ and is very much hit and miss.
I’d get my hands on a cheap dongle for the time being. Sorry for that.

I’ll tweet as soon as injection is working properly.

    Many thanks,
    Re4son

Thank you very much for the quick response!

I found a cheap alternative — Panda Wireless PAU06. It has the Ralink RT5372 chipset, which appears to support monitor mode and packet injection. I’ll let you know.

    Thanks again!
