      Hi Re4son,
installed pocket kali on dual boot and when I shut down the screen although it blacks out there is a terminal bleep and the pocket GPD is not powering off properly. The only way is if I press the power button and then shuts off. Any ideas?

      Thank you in advance

      Solution found

that seems to solve the problem

      1. sudo -i (to get a root shell, sudo gedit is not recommended)
      2. gedit /etc/default/grub
      3. Find the line: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=”quiet”
      4. Change this to: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=”quiet acpi=force”
      5. Save the file and close the file.
      6. Finally, in terminal: update-grub
      7. exit (to end the root shell)

      Hi,

Anyone still have issue shutting down or rebooting the gpd? The following steps doesn’t seem to work. Any other method that works for you all?

      1. sudo -i (to get a root shell, sudo gedit is not recommended)
      2. gedit /etc/default/grub
      3. Find the line: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=”quiet”
      4. Change this to: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=”quiet acpi=force”
      5. Save the file and close the file.
      6. Finally, in terminal: update-grub
      7. exit (to end the root shell)
