      Hi Re4son

First off all thank You for release ! For someone who just started with Kali on Pi it’s very helpfull.

      Raspberry Pi 3 b + Kuman 3.5
      16GB MicroSD Toshiba

Unfortunetly I have couple small issues:

      1. At this moment I got my Pi connected directly to laptop (192.168.137.x) and after each reboot It’s not connecting (no ip address and “not connected” on screen) so i have to reboot again then it’s back to normal

      2. VNC server not working, win7 client telling me that Pi refuseing. I found some tutorials for setting x11vnc so I’ll try them but if You’ll be able to help me with original option whould be great

Assume that I expand root, configured Kali-Pi Menu autolog in cli as pi.

If any additional info needed let me know.

      Thanks,
      Requ

      Hi Requ,

How are you connecting the pi to your laptop? Are you using “Internet connection sharing”? That is a bit temperamental and I usually disable ICS, connect the Pi, wait a minute, enable ICS, wait another minute and then connect.
      That should work.

VNC Viewer: The VNC server is restricted to only accept connections from localhost for security reasons (VNC traffic is unencrypted and should be tunnelled through an ssh session).
To connect, establish an ssh tunnel to the Pi and then point your vncviwer to your local endpoint.
      Here a walk through:

I also tried to compile drivers but headers folders don’t contain “build”

I’m going to keep searching but if You’ll be able to help find solution will be great.
