    Hi CoolCat,

Thanks for getting in touch. Which screen are you using? I’ll try to reproduce the error.

I’ve published the 2019.1 Stickyfingers image for armhf yesterday.
Arm64 is not supported yet. The 64bit kali image is relatively stable but the entire raspberry pi ecosystem is very much 32bit at the moment which means that a lot of dependencies are just not met yet to run Kali or Stickyfingers properly.

How about using the Kuman option? Those two are supposed to be identical

Awesome stuff. Did the kalipi-tft-config not work for you?

Finished. Thanks for hanging in there.

    To get it running:
    1. Install the latest kernel:
    https://re4son-kernel.com/re4son-pi-kernel/

    2. Run “kalipi-tft-config” and select “update”

    3. Run:

    cd /home/pi/Kali-Pi
    git pull
    vi menu

Select “7.0” as screen size and screen type “5”

That should get you running in no time.

Hope that helps and please let me know how your go,

    Hi Dan,

You can try the HyperPixel 4 again. I’ve released a new kernel and updated both the “kalipi-tft-config” tool and the Sticky Fingers menu.

    To get it running:
    1. Install the new kernel:
    https://re4son-kernel.com/re4son-pi-kernel/

    2. Run “kalipi-tft-config” and select “update”

    3. Run:

    cd /home/pi/Kali-Pi
    git pull
    vi menu

Select “7.0” as screen size and screen type “5”

That should get you running in no time.

    I’ll have a look at that Wellemann 3.5 VMP400.

    Hope that helps,

Oops, sorry. Change that to “apt remove”. That should take care of all dependencies

Just do a manual dpkg -r of the bootloader package then run the installation again

Still working on it. Best to rename kernel8.img for now

    Hi rjp421,

Sorry for that. I’m a few hours away from releasing 14.4.89 but you can just continue to use 4.14.80 and rename /boot/kernel8.img, i.e.:

    sudo mount /boot
    mv /boot/kernel8.img /boot/kernel8-alt.img

reboot and the bootloader will pick the 32bit kernel.

The only real difference between the new kernel package and the one you’ve got is that the installer does the renaming automatically when executed on armhf.

    Hi rjp421

You’re right – that package shouldn’t have been up as current. Thanks for letting me know.
A stable 4.14.88 will be up in a day or two.

    Many thanks,

    Hi all,

Sorry for the late reply. I hoped that the wave35h would be suitable and I didn’t have any kuman hdmi screens to test. Pity that the calibration is off.
The kuman 3.5 in the list is a GPIO display, not hdmi so that won’t work.

To fix that, I’ve just ordered this one:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B072Q3VRXT
I will integrate it as soon as it arrives. Will probably take a couple of weeks though coming from China. Sorry for that.

I’d dig deeper. It’s very rare these days to find a vanilla Apache installation that has no CMS sitting on top.

    Hi sirrand,

No need to do any of that anymore. Just run

    kalipi-config

    And select
    “03 Boot Options” -> “B1 Desktop / CLI”
Choose your preferred option and you’re all set

    Hope that helps,
